I have another sneak peek for you today. The set is called Welcoming Woods. This set is not bundled with dies or a punch. It is just beautiful. For this sample I did add a layer from a new embossing folder – the snowflakes are part of a 2 pack of folders called Wintry 3D and also include pine boughs on the other folder

Because the embossing folder is a thin one (6.25×3.3/8) there is a strip on the left side of the card that is not embossed, but it was the perfect place to align the focal layer and add a bit of ribbon.
To create the focal layer I just stamped the trees using Gray Granite ink, and then with the blending brushes I blended some Balmy Blue ink for the sky and stamped the snowflakes both first and second generation using Smoky Slate ink.

The card has a soft look to it, a little like you have stepped into the woods on a cold winter’s day and you stop to feel the silence all around you.
I am of course sitting here with the sunshine streaming in and the a/c on because it is quite warm outside.
Thanks again for stopping by, I will be back with more sneak peeks to share with you.
Happy Stamping,
Jan
