Today I want to share this Sweet Gingerbread card. You never know where inspiration will come from , for this card it was a towel that I saw (minus the greeting) on Pinterest. Ok it was a house with trees around it, The card is fun though right? Send me a note if you see the inspiration towel.
The trees for this card can be found in the die set for Snowman Magic. I love it when you can use elements from different sets and they look like they were meant to be together.
I embossed the greeting onto a flag tag from Stylish Shapes dies, and instead of cutting it off at the edge of the card I wrapped it around to the inside of the card. Just a little surprise when you open the card.
I used the brick and mortar embossing folder to create the bricks on the house and then colored them with blends.
The door and window were die cut on the house and then again on a scrap of white so I could color them.
