Today begins my month long show case of inspiration using product from the July-December mini catalog and Sale a Bration brochure. I will share something new every day.
I decided to start the month with a set called Soft Seedling. It is a stand alone set (no bundle) which could mean some detail cutting if you wanted to cut it out. I chose to use a die from Painted Labels on this Z fold card.
The base card is Bermuda Bay folded in half and the front of the card is folded back on itself meeting the folded edge. When you look at the card from the top edge it looks like the letter Z = Z fold.
I cut layers to fit on both the front folded back piece and the inside of the card using Very Vanilla. I die cut the swirly label using Pumpkin Pie card stock – stamped the leaves and seed pods with Pumpkin Pie ink and smudged them a bit with a blending brush.
The greeting was stamped using Memento Tuxedo ink.

Tomorrow I will be back with another project to share.
Happy July 1!

This is really a beautiful card, Jan. I’m wondering how you colored the leaves. It looks like maybe you used cotton balls. Did you? Or do you have a method that works best that you would share with me?
Hi Sue,
I just inked those leaves up with pumpkin pie ink. The stamp did all the rest.
