Today I have a fun technique to share using the Snow Crystal stamp. The process is easy but does have a few steps.
1- Using blending brushes color the entire layer of card stock with color. For this card I used Pool Party and and Balmy Blue inks and filled in large areas, trying not to have lines separating colors.
2- make sure the ink is completely dry- use a heat tool, embossing buddy or let it set.
3- stamp your snowflakes using Versamark ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
4- Once the snowflakes are embossed use a darker ink and blend over entire card front again. For this card I used Starry Sky.
The sentiment I used came from the Merriest Moments stamp set. I had planned to use a different greeting but did not leave myself enough room after stamping the snow crystals.
I finished off the card with a few white pearls from the For Everything Fancy sequins. I could have used the basic pearls but here I wanted them to be white.
I hope you try this technique.
I will be back again tomorrow with another card to share.
