Hello Stampers,
Today’s card may look geometric but it could also look like a prism, or something you might see after a rainbow when light is hitting droplets of water. I created this card using one of the designs that make up the new Plenty of Patterns decorative masks, and assorted Blends, I started with Polished Pink and filled in a few of the open spaces, then went onto another color filling them in pretty randomly until they were all filled. Next I used a black Stampin’ write and drew along the outside edge of each color as straight as possible, allowing that the blends may have bled a bit under the edges of the mask.
After all the outlining was complete, I added some new In color jewels, Stamped happy birthday on a strip of Polished Pink card stock, snipped off the end at an angle to coordinate with all the other angles on the card, layered it onto a piece of Basic Black and then to the card base and viola!
This was a fun card to make, and I can see making it again -maybe in all in shades of blue.
