The Rain or Shine suite was one of the first items I ordered during the demonstrator only purchasing time. I love every bit of it. For this card I only used the Playing in the Rain stamp set and die bundle portion of the suite. The suite also includes a rain drop embossing folder, designer paper and some fun little daisy embellishments.
The layout of this card is such an easy one. On what you decide is the top layer, decide where you want the stamped area to be and mask from the top and the bottom to create the space to stamp in while protecting the rest of the card from stray ink. For this card I created a 1 1/4″ opening. I wanted that stamped area to look like there was a party going on, so I stamped just the head portion in different angles, and upside down.
After filling in as many rabbit heads as I could I removed the masks and on a scrap piece I stamped and die cut the full rabbit, colored it using smoky slate, real red, and flirty flamingo blends. I stamped the greeting and popped the full rabbit up using dimensionals.
Such a fun card and with the generic greeting -you can add to the inside – Happy birthday, congratulations, or pretty much anything that will make you smile and will make the person you mail it to smile as well.
