Once in awhile I will see a photo of huge waves hitting a light house and the house getting soaked. It is certainly an awesome image. I realized that I had stamp sets and dies that I could use to recreate that image in paper. Today I combined Lighthouse Point and Waves of Inspiration to create the card.

To create the lighthouse I die cut both a solid and a detailed lighthouse in white and a detailed one in another color, and blending them together.

The wave was a little trickier but what I did was die cut the wave in white, and using press and seal wrap, I covered the front of the wave and was able to keep all the pieces together. I then took out each piece that I was going to color, colored it with the Night of Navy light blend and then put it back in its place- I continued this process until all the pieces were blue, then I put tear and tape across the back securing all the blue pieces in place.

Finally assembling a rocky point to set the lighthouse on, adhere the wave so it hits the lighthouse, added some clouds and seagulls and a greeting.

Both bundles are available in my online store

July will be a showcase month, during which I will offer daily samples of projects made using products primarily from the July-December mini catalog as well as the Sale a Bration brochure which is live July-August.

Until then, be sure and check out the retiring list, the clearance rack and the various kits available in my online store

I hope you all have a great weekend! I will be back next Friday July 1 to kick off my month of sample projects to inspire you.
