Today I have a quick share using Layering Designs vellum, Dotty hearts embossing folder and the heart punch pack- all available in my online store.

I used Smokey Slate for the base card stock, used my blending brush to add some color over the top of the print on the vellum, and used glue dots to adhere the vellum to the card base, but first I wrapped some retired basic grey bakers twine around the vellum a few times and tied a bow.

I used a left over Christmas ornament hanger wire to hang the heart onto the bakers twine.

When I first put the heart on I had not embossed it, and I thought it was just too plain, so I punched and embossed another heart and cut a small slit in the top so I could glue it right on top of the original heart , if you zoom in you can see the slit, but otherwise it is basically invisible. Just a quick trick /tip.

Would you give this card to your Valentine? A lovely warm note inside and it might just do the job.

I will be back soon with more to share.

Thanks for stopping by~
