I have had lots of fun with the stamp set Carnival Treats which is a host or reward set in the current Jan-April mini catalog.
I also used the Alphabest stamp set – it is a great size and font to add a sentiment to a card that is a little different. Inside this card I could easily pop some tickets or attach to a dvd for a movie night at home.
I often times find it difficult to get a good image when I am using markers to color a solid image such as the bucket for the popcorn. So here is what you can do. Ink the entire stamp with the color of your choice -here I used Poppy Parade, then using a blender pen or a wet wipe -clean off the poppy color from the popcorn part of the image and then use another color marker (since it is fine line at this point -the marker works great for this) to color the outline – here I used Basic Black then colored in with the Daffodil Delight.
It really is easy to do. I hope you try this the next time you have a mixed bold and fine line stamp.
