Today’s card features the Amazing Phrasing stamp set which is a Sale a Bration Pick through the end of August. The Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set has been on my desk for a couple of weeks waiting to be used, and so I decided to pair it with the Amazing Phrasing set for this card. I’m so glad I did.
I used thick Very Vanilla card stock because it can take a bit of water without blistering and I wanted to water color the sunflowers. I stamped the flowers, leaves and greeting using Versa Mark ink and embossed them in Gold. I did cut out the leaves rather than die cut them, but only because I forgot there were dies available.
I love a grid look so I used the new Split Card Textures die and a piece of vellum to give the card a bit of that look, without having to pull out my ruler and a marker to draw the grid.
