Today I am sharing the first card I made using the new Tulip Fields bundle. This windmill is pretty fun to make. It has 2 layers one that is solid and one that has all the detail, then add the blades using one of the little brads from the round and square brads available in the annual catalog to attach it to the windmill.
My card has lots of room for improvement, but I like it. The flowers were easier than I imagined. Starting with the yellow rows then the center row and moving out on either side from there. I used a Crumb cake blend to color in the dirt walkways between the rows. I have made another card using this bundle with several steps more, I will share that later.

I am looking forward to seeing the tulips come up in my yard in the coming months. It has been pretty stormy here, really looking forward to some “soft weather”.
