Hello Stampers!

Have you ever seen a rainbow in shades of pink? I usually like to copy the colors we see in the real world, but I have been having fun mixing things up – pink lady bugs, now pink rainbows. A bit of whimsey never hurts.

To create this card I used the Rainbow of Happiness bundle- I love this bundle. The stamp set has great images and sentiments and I love love love the versatility of the dies! For example- To create the background on this card I die cut the little tag and used the negative rainbow shaped space and our white chalk marker to “draw” all those little rainbows in white. It was the perfect size rainbow for a background and muted which is what I wanted to make the pink rainbow really pop!

To make the rainbow pop up I die cut the rainbow in the colors I wanted -Blushing Bride, Polished Pink, Magenta Madness and Shimmery White, then I die cut the foam adhesive sheet and adhered the colors in the order I wanted them. This is not the easiest way but I had not thought about popping it up until after I had already cut all the colors.

Next, I adhered the rainbow to the card front, added the little heart which came from using the dies from the Sweet Conversations bundle, added the ribbon which is available in the Jan-Jun mini, and some sparkle in the form of raindrops (silver and clear epoxy essentials in the annual catalog) and clear sequins.

Do you love rainbows? Not only can you get this fun bundle now but also available in Sale a Bration is a pack of Sunshine and Rainbows 6×6 designer paper- FREE with a $50 purchase. Check these out in my online store
