Hello Stampers!
Now that we are about half way through my 31 Days of Ideas and there is just a month until Valentines Day, I thought it would be a good time to start sharing some Valentine cards. I saw this card sample during a virtual convention with Stampin’Up! back in November and thought it was pretty cute, and simple. Lots of projects that look simple turn out not to be that simple, but this one really is.
First thing to do is choose your colors, then stamp one each of the heart shaped greetings onto the chosen colors in the same color ink (if you do not have the same color ink as the card stock you can use black ink)
The card stock colors I used are So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Highland Heather and Bermuda Bay – On the So Saffron I stamped using Daffodil Delight ink and on the Highland Heather I used Gorgeous Grape ink. You can get all these colors or others along with the Sweet Talk stamp set/bundle in my online store.
I die cut the hearts and then I used a ruler across my grid paper to ensure that the hearts were lined up straight. I popped up the 2 larger hearts, but the smaller ones are adhered directly to the top card layer, then I stamped the greeting to finish off the card.
It is fun and simple, but also easy to make.
Have a great day, I will be back tomorrow and thank you for stopping by.
