Good morning Stampers!

Today’s share is another ladybug card. I have had so much fun playing with these little ladybugs that I have quite a few in the line up. This card really had me seeing spots!

I wanted to mimic the wings of the ladybug and found that the basic patterns decorative masks were the perfect avenue to create the background. I used a blending brush and some jet black memento ink to create the background using the polka dot mask. I love it! Using these masks is a great way to create a background that perfectly matches your project. You can see these as well as others and the ladybugs too in my online store.

I used Poppy Parade for the red color on this card, most of the ladybugs I see around here are closer to this red than Real Red, but of course I have shared pink lady bugs (see Day 1) so do what makes you happy! For me it was really the spots that made me happy with this card!

Thanks for stopping by, I have another fun project to share with you tomorrow -that is not a ladybug.
